Origin of LUBÁN Frankincense

LUBÁN frankincense, also known as Omani Hojari frankincense, comes from the Dhofar region of Oman – one of the few places in the world where Boswellia sacra trees grow naturally. These crystals are considered the gold standard of frankincense for their high oil content, purity, and rich aroma. The trees thrive on the rocky, sun-baked mountain slopes on the border of Oman and Yemen, making the harvest rare and special.

Boswellia sacra resin has a calming, fresh, woody fragrance. Though the trees grow in the Middle East, the scent may transport you to the quiet depths of Estonian pine forests.

High-quality frankincense is recognized by its larger pieces and whitish or yellowish tones.
As it is a natural resin, small traces of wood may appear – a sign of hand-harvesting that does not affect the quality or aroma.

How to Use

1. Light a charcoal tablet and place it on a fireproof surface.

2. Wait 3–5 minutes until it turns grey.

3. Place a small piece of resin (pea-sized is enough) on the charcoal. Larger pieces can be broken by hand or with scissors.

4. The resin will begin to melt and release its characteristic aroma.

5. If the scent becomes sharp, move the resin gently on the charcoal with the tongs.

6. Once it stops smoking, remove the residue and add a new piece if desired.

7. Wait at least 1 hour before discarding the charcoal to ensure it has fully cooled.
   Store charcoal tablets in a dry place.

Note: Although Boswellia sacra resin is sometimes used in supplements, LUBÁN frankincense is intended only for burning.

LUBÁN Stone Burner

The set includes a spherical burner crafted from natural stone, simple in form yet elegantly striking. Strong and gentle at the same time, it blends beautifully into any home, from Oriental-inspired spaces to minimalist Scandinavian interiors. Available in black or natural white.

Since it is carved from natural stone, each burner is unique, naturally porous, and may contain mineral markings.

Burner Use

• The burner consists of two halves. Place lit charcoal in the base half.

• Add frankincense resin once the charcoal turns grey.

• Place the perforated lid on top, guiding the sacred smoke through nine openings.

• This creates not only a fragrant experience but also a visually beautiful ritual.

Important: The burner becomes hot when charcoal is lit. Place it on a fireproof surface or add a thin layer of sand under the charcoal inside the base.
Clean regularly from resin and charcoal residue.
